ETC DBI 24/250 Deadbreak Bushing Insert

The ETCDBI-24/250 Deadbreak Bushing Insert threads into a universal bushing well to provide the same function as a one piece bushing. Bushing inserts and elbow connectors comprise the essential components of all deadbreak connections. When mated with a comparably rated product, the bushing insert provides a fully shielded and submersible connection for deadbreak operation.
The Deadbreak Bushing Insert is moldedusing high quality peroxide-curedEPDMinsulationandwidelyusedinthe250A plug-interminationofthepadmountedtransformers,submersible transformers and switching cabinets.
No special tools are necessary. The insert can be installed by hand. An internal hex broach allows for positive torque controlled installation. Using the optional installation torque tool the bushing insert can be properly tightened into the Bushing Well.
